Recently, the core process equipment for the port works of SPIC Guinea Aluminum Development Project, undertaken by Jiangsu ChinaMining Heavy Equipment Co., Ltd., has successfully cleared customs and arrived at the project site, with equipment installation fully and orderly underway.
To ensure on-site construction safety and consolidate the foundation of project development, the Project Department organized pre-entry training for equipment installation of the Guinea Alumina Port Project. The third batch of installation personnel attended the training. The training covered site environment, key safety control requirements, equipment installation specifications, overseas construction risk prevention and other topics. It further strengthened the safety awareness and operational capability of construction participants, laying a solid safety foundation for subsequent equipment installation.
At present, more than 40 installation workers are stationed on-site for construction, and another over 40 professional technicians are heading to the project site in batches. The equipment to be installed this time includes three major core port main machines: the 5300t/h bucket wheel stacker-reclaimer, the 5300t/h curved rail ship loader, and the supporting belt conveyor system. They serve as the core "heart" equipment for port material handling operations.
The installation of this batch of large handling equipment will realize the full-process chain of material conveying, stockpiling and ship loading for the Guinea Alumina Port, ensuring outbound transportation of subsequent alumina products. Drawing on mature experience in manufacturing large bulk material handling equipment and overseas on-site installation, Jiangsu ChinaMining Heavy Equipment Co., Ltd. is fully advancing project construction to complete equipment installation with high quality, facilitating the delivery and effectiveness of key overseas Belt and Road Initiative projects.
